In fact tea, after water, is the second most commonly consumed beverage in the world, and Canadians drink about 9 billion cups of tea each year. Tea can also contribute to your healthy lifestyle by helping to increase alertness, keeping your body hydrated, in addition to leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Studies have shown that drinking 5-6 cups per day is optimal for reaping the health benefits of tea, but just 2 cups per day can be effective.
